Current Opportunities

We have a series of hourly and substitute positions that we accept applications for year-round. While there may not be a current need, this allows us to welcome great candidates throughout the year.

The Middle School Science Teacher is in charge of the daily classroom and students assigned to the classroom.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Maintain a close personal walk with the Lord, as evidenced by his/her example and spiritual leadership among peers and with students.
  • Teach subject and class as assigned using the curriculum, supplementary materials, field trips, special guests, etc., to enhance student learning.
  • Regularly implement current and new teaching strategies to improve student engagement, achievement, and behavior.
  • Maintain regular, professional, and helpful communication with students and parents.

Bear Club Staff, is responsible for maintaining a safe, fun and Jesus led environment for K-8 students at LCS. 
 
Their duties include but not limited to
  • Love of children
  • Implementing daily schedule
  • Running and/or Supervising daily activities
  • Ensuring a safe program environment for kids
  • General Clean-Up throughout the day and at day’s end
  • A heart for seeing kids (and their families) come to know the Lord. This is the highest priority in all we do.

The Preschool A.M Breaker/P.M. Teacher is responsible for giving morning breaks, supervising outdoor playtime, and giving lunch breaks. They will also create an afternoon play and learning environment that models the learning in the classrooms and week themes which include Christ-centered instruction and care.
