Tuition Assistance

The Bill Teunissen Endowment Fund & Tuition Grant Program

The Bill Teunissen Endowment Fund has been established “To provide scholarships so that financially needy students may attend Lakewood Christian Schools.” As a result of the foresight, and generous gift of Mr. Bill Teunissen, a Tuition Grant Program has been established at Lakewood Christian Schools. Tuition grants will typically be awarded at levels up to 50% of total tuition. Awards will be prorated and credited monthly during the school year. 

To apply, follow the steps below.

Register for School

  1. Submit completed, signed Lakewood Chirstian Schools Application for Admission Form
  2. Pay non-refundable registration fee
  3. Pass the entrance test
  4. Meet with the School Administrator

Complete the Tuition Assistance Application

  1. Complete the tuition assistance application through BeneFAQ
    1. School Registration number is 53358
  2. In the process you will need to include a photocopy of last year’s 1040 Tax Form and pay an online processing fee

Provide Family
Information

(Submitted to the front office)

  1. Photocopy of last years 1040 tax form (with applicable schedules) 
  2. Photocopies of the last four current pay stubs
  3. A signed, written letter indicating what your financial need is.  This is not stating why you want your children to attend LCS; it is simply to explain your financial situation to the scholarship committee 

Tuition Grant Application Deadlines

Applications for the Tuition Grant are due prior to April 10 in order to be considered in the first round of distribution 

If funds remain available after first round: The committee will meet in August to review all applications received by July 10

If funds remain available after second round: The committee will meet in December to review applications (for the 2nd half of the school year) received between July 11 and December 10
