When an update becomes available – read the details of the update for reasons to do it right away or wait to do it for a few weeks.
When ready to complete updates – Update one plugin at a time to make sure any problems are isolated.
If something goes wrong – reach out to support to restore the most recent backup.
Backups
We backup your site daily for 30 days, and then we also keep 3 monthly backups beyond that. If you do need us to restore your site, you would reach out to Support. If the needed restore is because of an issue with our products or services, we will take care of that for you, but if the restore is needed because of an issue caused by third-party software or if you made changes to your cPanel account, etc. there is a $75 restoration fee.
