Welcome to Lakewood Christian Elementary, we are so thrilled to partner with you in this very special year of kindergarten! As we come alongside you to shepherd your child closer to Jesus and to fall in love with learning, please know that we take on this responsibility seriously and hold the times with your little ones near and dear to our hearts. It is an honor to walk alongside you during this transition into elementary school.
We believe that Kindergarten is such a foundational year of school that sets the tone for their love of learning that extends throughout their academic career. Your child will experience so much growth across all academic, social-emotional, and spiritual areas.You will see your child begin uncertain in their letter sounds, and blossom into an eager and confident reader and writer. Your child will have opportunities to grow in their responsibility and independence as they develop relationships within their new school family. The growth is magical and we believe there is truly no place like kindergarten!
