Lakewood Christian Schools (LCS) was founded by the sponsoring First Baptist Church of Lakewood (now called Arbor Road Church), with a desire to impact the community by offering a quality Christ-centered education.

We have three sections of our school: Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School; meeting the needs of families with children age 3 through 8th grade.

Our school has two classes of every grade level, with an enrollment total of about 350 students. Our average class size is 20, with the class reaching maximum capacity at 25.

We are proud of our teachers and staff here at LCS, and we know you will love them. Each are committed Christians and they are passionate about teaching. All classroom teachers have state credentials and are also certified by the Association of Christian Schools International. They are devoted to meeting their students’ needs, and they are quite creative as they do so!

We really enjoy each other here at LCS. Former students are now school parents at LCS, and we are impacting a second generation. How fun is that? This also shows in our high teacher retention, and 25% of our teachers are former LCS grads.

As you browse our website, I hope you find our passion for the arts, our love for sports, and our commitment to providing the best education for our students. You will see our standardized test results are quite high. In addition, we offer choir, band, computer, PE, and art in elementary school as well as a myriad of electives in middle school.
