Homeschooling is a unique educational option that empowers students to learn in a personalized and meaningful way. As parents, you have made the decision to provide your children with a quality education by taking an active role in it and aligning what is being taught with your individual values and beliefs. As you well know, homeschooling also allows for flexibility and customization of education, catering to individual learning styles and schedules which ultimately leads to each child receiving a tailored education that is designed to meet their specific needs.
Welcome to Lakewood Christian Academy (LCA). This Private School Satellite Program (PSP) has been a part of Lakewood Christian Schools since 2012, and it is our goal to support your family on this educational venture. The PSP will help choose curriculum, find resources, answer questions, and keep you on track so that you have a truly individualized homeschooling experience. Being a part of our homeschool group means that you have access to a supportive and inclusive community of like-minded individuals who share the same goal of providing quality education and meaningful learning experiences for your children.
I am honored to have led LCA as the Homeschool Director since 2021. I have a personal connection to this special program as my own children have been a part of the PSP since it began at LCS. My daughter graduated from high school at the end of the ‘22-’23 school year, so I am familiar with what it’s like being a homeschool parent and look forward to partnering with you in your journey.
