A Veteran’s Day Blessing While most schools and businesses observe the Veteran’s Day holiday by taking the day off, Lakewood Christian Schools (LCS) in Long Beach, CA, takes a different approach by hosting an annual Veteran’s Day Service. The hour-long program is student-led with musical performances from the LCS Middle School Band, Choir, and Kindergarten and First-grade classes. The objective is teaching the students and guests the importance of recognizing Veteran’s Day and those who served our country.
